As a lover of shoes, nothing beats variety. But what happens when variety meets convenience? MAGIC, STYLE, AND COMFORT. That’s what I found in my brand new LOZA MALEOMBHO sandals.
Established in New York City in 2009, LOZA MALEOMBHO’s work is not your ordinary modern fashion. She describes it as, “fusion between traditional cultures/ sub-cultures and contemporary fashion.”
Why yes! Aside from shoes, Loza Maleombho is a clothing line as well.
I learned about Loza Maleombho while shopping online for white sandals for my trip to Jamaica. When I saw them, I had to have them. When I received them, I fell in love; not only with the style, but the convenience of the sandal. The sandals come packaged in a reuseable tote that I now just store the sandals in. This made packing them in my luggage to travel very easy because it didn’t take up much space (leaving room to pack more shoes).
I love that they can be worn dressed up or dressed down.
Although the “ZEBRA” style sandals were made to be worn past your knees, at times I strapped it around enough for it to end just at my knees. What I love the most about them is how easy they are to clean. The straps are patent leather. A little soap and water does the trick to keep them clean and pretty.
